Pain Tx, manufactured by the Good Pharmaceutical Development Company, is the first topical CBD product developed by pharmacists and doctors to be clinically tested by peer-reviewed, published clinical research. Good Pharma launched a three-way, placebo-controlled trial in partnership with Asheville Botanicals to perform a first in humans study comparing their product, a unique CBD/CBDa cream, vs. placebo. The company will record pain and QOL data with validated instruments and, in partnership with Juno Metabolomics, measure day 0 and day 14 levels of CBD, CBDa, anandamide, 2-AG and serotonin levels. This will be the first-ever pK study with a CBD topical.
